President of the Supreme Court Chairs ASEAN Law Association of Thailand Committee Meeting
On 29 April 2026, the President of the Supreme Court chaired the meeting of the National Committee of the ASEAN Law Association of Thailand (ALA Thailand) at the Supreme Court Building.
The Committee is composed of representatives from Thailand’s leading judicial institutions — the Court of Justice, Administrative Court, and Constitutional Court — together with delegates from the Office of the Attorney General, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Council of State, the Thai Bar under the Royal Patronage, and Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. Law schools, including Chulalongkorn University, Ramkhamhaeng University, Srinakharinwirot University, and Kasetsart University, also joined the session.
During the meeting, the quorum reviewed the programme for the upcoming 15th Law Association General Assembly, along with the associated activities of the ASEAN Law Conference and the ASEAN Moot Competition, scheduled for 21–23 July 2026.
In addition, the Committee elected candidates for the new leadership of ALA Thailand— the ALA Thailand President and ALA Thailand Secretary General — for the 2026–2029 term, ensuring the continuity of ASEAN’s legal cooperation and institutional development.
